I decided tonight that I had enough money to get me two pets that suddenly became super easy for engineers to get: 'Lil Smokey and Pet Bombling. I've been trying to collect all the pets in World of Warcraft (or at least those in game) for quite a while and I have over 65 pets. I was nearly finished with the required 205 points in engineering when the stupid server announced a 5-hour early shutdown! I was livid. Well...only because I now have to wait til tomorrow to get my pets and then destroy everything that moves to get Skinning back. lol

In other news I just got 3 immunizations that no one likes: Smallpox, Typhoid, and Anthrax. Anthrax was interesting. It burned in my veins down my arm. The stupid Smallpox nearly made me faint and now has formed this lovely scab that no one can touch or risk spreading the disease. What? You thought it was supposed to be a dead viral form of the immunization? Me too. Ingenious military thought that it should be a live form. I'm not supposed to play with children now. The bandages they gave me for it are horrid too. I had to change them daily and the adhesive tore off a layer of skin each time. My entire shoulder itches with new skin growth.

Hopefully I can sleep well in 4 hours (bedtime at 7am). I'm still on graveyard shift. Feels like it has been over a year.

Oh and can the world please shut up about the new strain of flu? It isn't that bad, easy to catch, or as deadly as people are making it seem.

No one on the news has said a damn thing about his policies.

Only that he is black.

And the man he looked up to preached hate, racism, and and other things unbecoming a man of God. How can Obama pretend that he did not listen to this man for 20 years? He is a liar. If he is not a liar he is insulting a close friend with one of the worst things you could ever say. "Oh yes I look up to you, but I never listen to a word you say." What?!

Seriously though all I hear is that he is black. Seriously, who gives a rat's A. I meet too many people who wanted to vote for him because he is black. It sickens me.

No I do not endorse or even like McCain. I would not be happy if he had won either, but I cannot stand the hero worship of a man who the media seems to love for his skin color.

You want to talk to me about his message of hope and change? How many leaders of the world did the same? FDR, Martin Luther King, Reagan, JFK, Hitler, Lenin, Mao Tse Tung. Each and everyone was a force for change. Not all of it turned out well.

Speaking of JFK, what ever happened to his message of "ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country"? Sometime ago it died.

I think I just need to take a chill pill and forget about this whole mess. I'm not gonna complain about this any more. I've bitched enough and it only gets me angrier.

But if I hear one person tell me how great it is to have a black president instead of having any actual merit, I am going to rip his f******* head off. /rantoff

I've been playing Snoopy VS. the Red Baron. It is a great game, simple and enjoyable. I recommend everyone play it.

I can't really say much because today when my wife and I went to buy groceries our 2 dogs decided to go for a trip. Violet, the larger one, comes home after about 2 hours, limping with red bruises all over, a tick in one leg, thorns scattered in her fur and large, angry puncture wounds on her front, left paw which is swollen. We took her to the vet and the doc says to keep her indoors with little horse play. I was happy to see her, but I wonder what my dog ran into. After we get home, Portia, the other dog is sitting by my wife's car looking innocent. I wanted to smack her. She had been gone 4 hours. Meanwhile Violet looks exhausted and seems to be crying a bit.

All this after I had just fixed the fence over the weekend.

So now I am going to stay up to I don't know when doing homework.

At least my cat is home too to sit on my lap. and honestly I am happy the dogs are home so I am not worrying about them while writting a paper.
